Conquer Your NBTs
We understand that preparing for the National Benchmark Tests (NBTs) can be daunting, but we are here to guide you through the process and help you achieve success. We offer a range of course options:
Workshops
A 10 hour course (per AQL and MAT). We will work through the full scope of the NBT to ensure success. This is the suggested course for all students as it is the most in depth. This is a good fit for all student levels, as the teacher will customise the work to each student’s abilities.

Crash Course
A 3-hour lesson done individually or in small groups to help students prepare for the NBTs. This is a crash course therefore only the basic skills and facts are taught. This is a good course for a student who has strong subject abilities (75% and higher).

What are the NBTS?
The National Benchmark Test (NBT) is a series of tests that aim at assessing a learner’s academic readiness for university.
The test is spilt into two 3-hour exams/tests. The first test is the Academic and Quantitative Literacy (AQL) and the second test is the Mathematics Test (MAT).

Why do I need to prepare?
The NBT results are sent to Universities to decide if a student’s application is successful or not and to help determine how much support each student would need at a university.
Therefore, it is imperative that you prepare for the tests to get the best possible result for your academic future.
